That feeling became a belief, that everyone deserves a space that feels personal, relaxed, and quietly beautiful.
Studio Couch Potato was born to bring that to life. To turn empty houses and scattered rooms into spaces full of comfort, character, and care.
We wanted to create a space where you can truly be yourself. Where putting your feet up and staying in feels easy and comforting. Because being a couch potato in a space that feels like you isn’t something to feel guilty about. It’s a small, everyday luxury and one you absolutely deserve.

Founder’s Note
I’m Banu, the founder of Studio Couch Potato, and I truly believe that your home should be your favorite place to be.
My path to interior design wasn’t a straight line. I began as an engineer with a degree from Anna University in Chennai, where I learned structure and precision. Studying in California and Toronto for my double master’s degrees gave me fresh perspective and a deep appreciation for global design sensibilities, from Scandinavian simplicity to Mediterranean warmth.
Over time, I started feeling a pull toward something more creative. This pull led me into event styling, and for a while, I lived in the world of fleeting beauty, curating unforgettable moments, designing immersive environments, and discovering the power of atmosphere. It was here that I found my creative voice, and it became clear that styling wasn’t just about pretty things, it was about emotion, storytelling, and the way spaces make us feel.
Interior design brought it all together. It allowed me to use my analytical brain and creative heart together, to design spaces that are not only visually beautiful but functional, grounded, and personal. And so, Studio Couch Potato was born.
At Couch Potato, we take a laid-back but intentional approach. We listen closely, style intuitively, and create spaces that feel like a breath of calm. Whether it’s a cozy corner or an entire home, we’re here to help you shape a space that feels just right for you.

Head of Operations
With a PhD in Civil Engineering from NIT Suratkal and over 13 years of experience in construction project management, resource deployment, and site administration, I manage the entire execution pipeline at Studio Couch Potato. From project planning and site coordination to client communication and final handover, I ensure every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
Dr. Lokesh
Head of Productions
With a PhD in Civil Engineering from I.I.T Madras and over 10 years of experience in construction and interior production, I lead the production process at Studio Couch Potato. From idea to installation, I handle contractor coordination, layout precision, and on-site problem-solving to ensure every design is delivered with structure, intent, creativity, and great functionality.
Ms. Anveksha
Consultant Architect
With a degree in Architecture from BMS College, Bangalore and over 5 years of design experience, I bring strength in spatial planning, structure, and detail. I ensure every idea, however imaginative, is buildable and intentional. From refining layouts to aligning concepts with site realities, I support the creative vision with architectural insight that balances design and feasibility.
